Donating platelets this morning and this is the best I can do! Have to eat before sitting for 2 hours so Paleo will be broken in the name of plasma!

Drury Buildings restaurant on drury street was a really nice treat after I managed to navigate a coeliac and dairy free meal. Not easy at the outset!

I had the Bresaola sans Parmesan to start which was totally delicious. I would have like fish for the main but the most adaptable option was the beef fillet without the potato part of the porcini gratin. This was really great too. Served with lots of kale and the meat was super lean and perfectly cooked.

Iā€™d also highly recommend the house wine- a delicious Malbec.

Day 78 lunch in Herb Street, Grand Canal Dock. Prawns and sweet potato.

Menu was overall pretty restrictive, lots of meats, cheeses, quiches, all the whites I’m generally steering clear of. The olive oil these were cooked in wasn’t an ideal choice but sometimes you just have to make the best choice based on what’s available.

Prawns were delicious and it was the perfect sized lunch. A side of veggies and I would have had a square meal.

Neon camden street. How I love your Paleo-friendliness so.

One of the few places that don’t sigh when I ask for veggies instead of rice. Watch out for the soy though, that’s a no-no.

Pity I can’t eat my free ice cream anymore but I have a boyfriend who’s more than happy to eat two.

Some lunches and dinners over the past couple of weeks…
Steak with steamed veggies; cabbage, butternut squash, carrots.
Steak salad with balsamic and walnuts.
Salmon salad with pickled cucumber, shredded carrots, leaves, hazelnuts and tomatoes.
Grilled salmon and mega portion of superfood greens.

Yummy stuff but buying salads on the go is a total pain in the arse! Almost everything has dairy or legumes in it which makes picking up something quickly and totally paleo difficult.

I’ve just had a couple of weeks where I haven’t been doing a big shop and I’ve even getting really boring with my good which is making Paleo harder. Think I’m on day 80 at the moment and I pledge to eat more exiting Paleo foods for the last 10!

Hit Ness up last Sunday for a juice last Sunday and it was a pretty disappointing experience. I thought I’d treat myself to an amaZing, refreshing and cleansing hit after a boozy Saturday but it was Luke warm and mediocre… Just like the gug behind the counter whose face screamed ‘kill me now’.
